Chapter III

When the jetboat picked them up at the edge of the swamp, Hit-Boy and James Fauntleroy looked at each other, concerned. They’d seen some pretty interesting things in their careers, producing and writing for the likes of Beyoncé, Drake, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Frank Ocean, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, and Snoop Dogg. But this request was one of the most unusual:

KINGSHIP, the biggest and most bored supergroup in the world, had invited them to an island whose existence was only rumored.

After a long ride, they discovered that it was true: KINGSHIP had indeed brought together and united M&M’S of every color from every corner of the world.

But that wasn’t why they were here.

As they arrived, KINGSHIP pulled up in their own boat on the other side of the island.

The parties on the two boats greeted each other. As the two producers looked around the island, wondering where they were supposed to work, they noticed a golden glow underneath the dock.

KINGSHIP led them toward that glow, which was not from some sort of swamp creature, but a wooden shack on top of the dock, which was flooded with an electric light and something else very familiar to the producers:  

It was the combined Grammy Awards they had both won. All seven of them.

They looked around the space. A rustic, magical wooden shack with views of the beautiful swamp expanse from all four directions.

They looked at each other, then at Captain, KING, Arnell, and Hud. Instantly, they all smiled.

This was going to be a beautiful place to create something new and undeniable.
